Ryan believes that one of the essential foundations of a successful film is having clear dialogue. His keen ear, innovative use of equipment, and open collaboration with boom-ops, dp's, directors, and actors always strive to record the best dialogue to make the post-production process as smooth as possible. Assistantship Experience

While he enjoys being a creator, Ryan is also passionate about bringing other people's work to life using his technical knowledge and problem solving skills. He works as an Assistant Orchestrator and Copyist for Nolan Markey, where he cleans MIDI data and copies musical parts for film scores such as Star Wars: The Bad Batch, Tales of the Jedi, and Doom Patrol.

With many years of mentoring and collaborating under his belt, he always offers a helping hand for people who are interested in working in film, especially the sonic arts.
BIO
A student of Chapman University, Ryan Lew holds many titles. By daylight, his clients know him as a passionate sound designer, production sound mixer, and music composer who strives to serve the picture. And by night, his peers know him as a leader, a mentor, and a good friend. Growing up in Oregon, he draws his inspiration from nature and is fascinated by the raw sounds created naturally within the environment around him.

Beyond working in sound, Ryan enjoys immersing himself in media such as animated shows, video games, and VR experiences. He also values having trustworthy connections between both his coworkers and his friends.
